Marcie Johnson

Marcie Johnson, 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 27, 2026.

Born on January 25, 1975, Marcie lived a life grounded in faith, love, and devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of Brian Johnson, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage marked by deep commitment and faith.

Marcie's faith in Christ was the foundation of her life. She trusted in God's promises and found strength in His Word.

"For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything." Deuteronomy 2:7

Marcie sought opportunities to share the Gospel and do God's work, praying faithfully for those around her and boldly encouraging others toward a stronger walk with the Lord. She often asked, "How does this honor the Lord?" - a question that guided her life and decisions.

Marcie also had a deep love for the outdoors and embraced adventure with enthusiasm. She cherished time spent in God's creation and found joy in traveling to many places, creating lasting memories with those she loved. Whether exploring somewhere new or simply enjoying the beauty around her, she approached life with gratitude and wonder.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Johnson; her daughters, Taylor Marie Johnson and Emily Jo Johnson; her son-in-law, Austin Johnson; her mother, Mary Lou Kirkman; her brother, Dewayne Kirkman and his wife, Bethany Kirkman; and her niece and nephew, Connor Kirkman and Chloe Kirkman. She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Kirkman.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Apex Baptist Church, 110 S. Salem Street, Apex, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
