Marcile Juif Obituary
Marcile Rose (Kunce) Juif, age 92, of Wolcottville, died Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Orchard Pointe.
Mrs. Juif was born on March 8th, 1931, in Pleasant Lake, to the late Claire and Jeanette (Rawles) Kunce. She married William Juif on February 19, 1949, in Albion.
Marcile had worked at Electric Motors in Garrett and as a custodian at Wayne Center Elementary School.
She enjoyed living on the farm, gardening, square dancing and traveling with her husband, brother-in-law and sister. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and attending sporting events for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: daughter, Becky & Jim McClure of Kendallville; son, Burt & Pam Juif of Stroh; three granddaughters, Michele & Jason Smith of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Tiffany & Bill Nartker of Independence, Kentucky, and Alecia & Trey Carroll of Avilla; seven great-grandchildren, including Marissa (Shawn) Wilson, Alex Smith, Evan Smith, Emersyn Smith, Colton Nartker, Nicholas Nartker and Dylan Carroll, and one great-great grandchild, Ryker Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Juif, sisters, Betty Derrow, Wilda Sheppard & Margaret Rupp and brother, Lee Kunce.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m., on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville, Indiana. Pastor Ken Walker of Wayne Center United Methodist Church will officiate the service.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Pallbearers will be Bill Nartker, Trey Carroll, Chuck Kunce, Tom Derrow, Jim DeCamp and Shawn Wilson. Honorary bearers are Rick Kunce, Tim Derrow and Rick Shearer.
Preferred memorial donations may be made to Morning Star Hospice at 11128 East Winona Ave, Suite B1, Warsaw, IN 46580.
