Marcus Alexander Cole, age 18, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on May 31, 2025. Born on August 7, 2006, in Thornton, Colorado, Marcus grew up in the communities of Denver, Thornton, and Elizabeth.
A 2024 graduate of Elizabeth High School, Marcus was a creative spirit with a fearless heart and a brilliant sense of humor. He carved a unique path as a semi-professional gamer, earning recognition and friendship under the names OsamaPiñata, El Rey, and MarcusDaPro15. Whether strategizing for his next win or making others laugh, Marcus brought light and energy into every space he entered.
Marcus will be remembered for being thoughtful, kind, generous, and endlessly forgiving. He had a deep love for his family and a quick wit that often left those around him smiling. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help others, and his presence made people feel safe and seen. He was often heard proudly declaring, “I’m a businessman and I make business plans,” and with a grin, he’d joke, “I’m an old man.”
Marcus is survived by his loving parents, his devoted step-parents, his older brother, two younger brothers, and his younger sister. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, laughter, and deep familial love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
