Marcus Adam Cole, Sr, affectionately known as "Jamaica" and "Bossman," passed away, leaving behind a legacy of generosity and kindness. Born on May 1, 1975, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Mary Helen William and Walter Cole, Marcus touched the lives of many with his warm heart and selfless spirit.
Marcus Adam Cole, Sr departed his life on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Marcus was known for his unwavering generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious smile and positive energy made him a beloved figure in his community. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A good father and grandfather Marcus was the heart of his family, a source of unwavering love and support. He is the one who offers a shoulder to lean on, a hand to hold, and a heart full of wisdom. His laughter fills the home with joy, and his stories become cherished memories. He teaches life's most important lessons through his actions, showing kindness, patience, and strength. His love is a guiding light, nurturing his children and grandchildren, and his presence is a comforting embrace that makes everyone feel safe and cherished.
Marcus was also known for his incredible generosity and his love for life. He had a unique way of bringing people together, often buying out the bar for friends and showing everyone a good time. His infectious spirit and ability to create unforgettable moments will be deeply missed.
Marcus is survived by his children: Lakyra Gaskin, Jameyah Cole, Marcus Cole, Jr, Trinity Andrews, Jaden Cole, Dayshun Wilson, Alexus Cole, Andre Cole, and Tyler Nelson. Grandchildren Ky'Linn Gaskin, Keyson Brown, Knox Cole, Hakeem Davis, Jr, Noah Parker, Ari Cross, Nova Parker, Tim'Myra Weatherton, and Aubri Cole. He leaves his siblings Gwendolyn D. Cole, Byron Ross, Walter W. Cole, Joseph Cole, along with numerous relatives and friends who cherished his presence. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his legacy of kindness will continue to inspire others.
Rest in peace, Marcus. Your generosity and spirit will never be forgotten.
