Marcus A. Cook, aged 51 passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025 holding the hand of his beloved wife Kathy and surrounded by love. He battled cancer with bravery and grace. Marcus is survived by his father, Allan, and his sister, Shallan, his stepmother Laura, his stepsister Bridget and stepbrother Jason who continue to carry his memory with love and pride. Marcus leaves behind a legacy of hard work, imagination, and deep love for the things—and people—he cared about. Preceded in death by his beloved mother, Leonore, Marcus was a dedicated professional who poured everything into his work. But beyond his career, he was a true creative spirit. An exceptional writer, Marcus had recently achieved a long-held dream of publishing his book, A Chance in Hell, An Ava Edison Heist. He also hosted a radio show where his wit, insight, and warmth reached listeners near and far, and even brought joy to many through his unique and whimsical puppet show. Whether through words, stories, or laughter, Marcus had a rare gift for connection and storytelling. His voice—both literally and figuratively—will be deeply missed.
