Marcus Corder Obituary
Carroll Marcus Corder, age 72 years, of the Worley Hilltop Community died Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on August 9, 1950 the son of Elbert and Randy Geneva (Jones) Corder. Mark had worked in his business Corder’s Fuel, driving the School Bus for The McCreary County School District, as well as many other varies jobs, and was a member of the Day Ridge United Baptist Church. He will be best remembered for being a joyful giver.
His parents; brothers, David W. Mason and Billy Corder; and sisters, Isabelle Corder and Dillie Tucker precede him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Marcus Dewayne Corder and Steven Christopher Corder both of Stearns, Kentucky; brother, Terry Gordon Corder of Stearns, Kentucky; and sisters, Linda Marie Keith of Stearns, Kentucky and Elsie Joan Jervis of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. John Goodin, Bro. Ray Sumner, and Bro. Hobert Corder officaiting. Burial will follow in the Corder Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
