Marcus S. Ecie Age 52 of Brownstown, M.
Beloved father of Marcus S. Ecie and Devin T. Ecie. Doggie dad of Rebel, Brat, and Rascal. Loving son of Steve and the late Peggy Ecie. Dear brother of Craig (Jessamyn) Ecie, Kim (Wil) Moore, and Lynda Ecie. Dearest Uncle of Rob (Beth) Ecie, Amber Weatherhead, and Jessica Ecie. Loving great uncle of Jake Weatherhead, Joseph Weatherhead, Collin Ecie, and Elliana Ecie.
Cremation will take place at the on-site crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes.

Marcus graduated from Lincoln Park High School Class of 1988. After High School he joined the US Army as Military Police stationed in Germany. Following his time in the army he earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan then his Master's Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
Marcus was a general foreman at Ford Motor Company supervising the paint shop at Dearborn Truck as well as the Flat Rock Assembly Plant where he enjoyed a long career until he medically retired in 2016.
Marcus had a great love of life and adventure. He was an active member of the Southpoint Church in Trenton, MI as well as a leader of the church's men's group. He loved to travel with his friends and family and loved all of Michigan collegiate and professional Detroit sports, as well as volunteering at local animal shelters.
Above all, his greatest love was for his family. He made time to join every family gathering, support and make time to attend every one of his family's sporting events even when his health was making it difficult to do so. Even during the most difficult times of his life he found ways to be positive and bring out the best in all of us. Our lives will be forever filled with lasting memories of his love, humor and energetic approach to life.

The staff here at Veteran's Hospital and I were deeply saddened when we learned that Marcus had passed away. He was such a good guy and a true example of a real life hero. He always kept us laughing." We´re going to miss him so much." We are thinking of you guys and send our heartfelt condolences. A great man has left this earth but will forever be in our hearts. Great memories will live on. All our love.
