Marcus Edward Fields, age 69, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born December 5, 1955 in Canton, OH to the late Charles and Edna Fields.
Marcus was a loving husband and a wonderful friend. He loved traveling when he was younger, visiting 44 states with his wife. He was a history buff and loved archaeology, even visiting the pyramids in Egypt. Marcus was a classic rock and roll fan, and a talented musician himself playing the harmonica, saxophone, and trumpet. He enjoyed watching television, especially Fox News, and loved Donald Trump. He liked reading, golf, and antique Alfa Romeo cars. He was also a wonderful cook. Marcus will be so missed by his loved ones.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 26 years, Edilma Fields, and his beloved dog, Saturday; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maria and Noe Godoy; brother-in-law, Adolfo Godoy; sisters-in-law, Adriana Godoy and Esmeralda Lybrand; nieces and nephews, Fabian, Juan, Daniela, Valentina, Brian, Catalina, and Gabriela.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
