Marcus was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and faith. He gained his wings so soon and left a gigantic void in the hearts and souls of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Marcus found joy in music, playing his drums, singing, and dancing. He is the former drummer of the band Backwater Buda Land. Who performed at the 2021 Come and Take It Celebration. He loved BBQing, he began cooking for the community, being the 1st to sell Alligator tacos cajun style on the street. This must've been his most adventurous meal yet. He began to learn the secret to cooking crawfish next to his closest brother, Prez. He was always the life of the party with his detailed, full-acting stories. He could not tell a story without the full body and hand movements or facial expressions. He adored all his children and grandkids. Marcus was that Grandpa who went to the games and picked up his babies from school. He was the Grandpa who was ready to be the trampoline and wrestler for his Grandboys, but yet ready to paint the nails or have tea parties with his precious babygirl.
Marcus found his passion and happiness on his Harley's. His Harley's were his babies and his pride and joy. The wind therapy was his dose of medicine putting many miles on these Texas roads. Telling his wife, "Babe, get dressed, we need to get some wind therapy." Marcus, aka "Filero", was the Sergeant at Arms to the Twisted Guardian Motorcycle Club. He grasped the code of honor with the emphasis on brotherhood, respect, loyalty, and helping fellow riders. No brother or sister gets left behind. Always there for his brothers and sisters any time, day or night. The Guardians are a youth outreach, community outreach, and mentors for youth at risk. The club stood for what Marcus believed in, and he was 100% dedicated to his brothers and sisters of the club. MLAR KIT Green and White til we see the light. Filero, Twisted Guardians Motorcycle Club, Sgt At Arms.
Marcus will always be remembered by those who knew him for his infectious smile and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. His gift of making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. A visitation will place at Seydler- Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, with a Celebration of Life following from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
