Marcus Leo Holt was born on October 30, 1939, in Joseph City, Arizona, and passed away April 23, 2025 in Mesa, Arizona.
Our kind and gracious husband, son, father, uncle, grandfather and friend passed away at 85 at his home in Senior Care Center, in Mesa, Arizona. Marcus grew up in Joseph City, Arizona and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He loved to read and he enjoyed family history. He served for many years in the Armed Forces, from which he retired after 21 years.
Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Glen (1976) and Verle Westover Holt (2011); brothers, Dellis Glen Holt (1929) and Neldon Evert Holt (2013); sister, Doris Holt Moore (2005) as well as his wives, Patti Kay Holt (1993) and Alvie Rose Holt (2017).
He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Holt of Mesa, Arizona; step-sons, Marc and John Tubbs; grandchildren, Trey and Kealee Paulsen, Riley, Jaden, Jax and Jagger Tubbs; great-grandson, Talon Paulsen; and a sister, Joyce Hunt of Kimberly, Idaho.
There will be a graveside service at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona on Monday May 19, 2025 at 12:00 P.M where he will be laid to rest alongside his wife Patti Kay Holt.
