Marcus Marquis Williams was born on January 31,1977 in Macon, Georgia to Leon McCoy and Dorothy Williams.
Marcus was affectionately known as "Marc". He loved life, people and most of all loved family. Marc made many friends and acquaintances - to know Marc was to love him. He had an infectious smile that lit up the room and those around him.
In his formative years, Marc was quiet and reserved but always creative. He excelled as a trumpet player in the Lassiter High School Band.
Among Marc's many talents include his passion as an avid artist. His ability to vision things and create them in form was impeccable. His attention for detail allowed him to exercise his creativity when exploring new and great ideas. His innovative mind sparked his music writing skills. He designed signature bow ties.
Marc was employed by Aramark Uniforms as an Embroidery Apprentice. He was previously employed with his father's Body Shop, Auto Express Inc as a Body Technician Assistant and implemented new ideas in the business. He was also a well sought after Barber and Stylist.
On Wednesday, April 17,2024, Heaven had a roll call and Marc answered "Here I am Lord, Take Me". He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Etta Mae Williams.
His footprint remains on the heart of his father, Leon (Cynthia) McCoy; mother, Dorothy Williams; grandmother, Bessie Plant; brother, Shay (Candace) Williams; sisters, LaTisha McCoy and Velikyia (Monika) Wright; niece, Torren Williams; nephews, Kamaree Moore, Tahjz, McCoy-Thomas; uncles, Charles McCoy and Ronnie Plant, and a host of relatives that will nurture the branch that has been removed along with a host of dedicated friends that will miss him dearly.
Although we may not see his face, our hearts will be forever etched with previous memories and the Sun will Shine upon us.
