Marcus Holt Woodham, Jr., 84 of Avon Lake peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness on Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was born August 28, 1937, in Jonesboro, GA to parents Marcus and Lucy Kate (nee Barronton) Woodham, Sr.
Mark was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and received his bachelor's degree from John Marshall Law School. He was a proud Army veteran, worked for Ford Motor Company in Lorain and travelled and worked throughout the United States and Europe. Mark was a deacon at Avon Lake Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting with friends, good food, yardwork, puttering around the house, feeding, and watching the birds and spending time with his grand dogs. He was a great storyteller and found joy spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving daughter Michelle Woodham (Don Rochon); brother Richard; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 28 years, Shirley, and his sister Virginia Freeman.
Mark's family would like to thank his caregivers at home, Kemper House, Avon Place, and Bella Care Hospice. They were kind and gentle and deeply appreciated.

Friends and family may call for a visitation from 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. www.buschcares.com 440.933.3202
