Our Family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Marga Bruderek,

who passed away on November 9, 2025, at 89 years of age.

Marga was born in Nindorfer, Germany. In her youth, she grew up on a farm where she enjoyed

spending time with her parents and 4 sisters & 1 brother. After her 18th birthday, she

courageously immigrated to NYC in hopes of a new life. Marga became an American citizen but

always was proud of her German heritage. She lived in NYC until she married Willi Bruderek.

The newlyweds moved to Spotswood, NJ to raise their family. They had 3 children: William,

Christine and Margaret. In 1977, the family relocated & settled to Toms River, NJ,

where Marga's husband opened a German Pork store. Marga has resided there ever since.

During those years in Ocean County, she worked as a Home Health Aid and loved helping the

elderly. She was an avid exerciser and swimmer at Ocean County YMCA for 30 years. She

belonged to the Lakewood Maennerchor, a division of the German American club for 47 years,

where she became an honorary member. She loved to garden and do yardwork. She would

spend hours bird watching from her front porch. She loved spending time at the beach. She

loved dancing & singing to her German music. She attended church at Holy Cross Lutheran. She

also enjoyed cooking & baking. Her favorite was German pound cake.

Marga lived a full warm life filled with joy. She had a beautiful personality and smile. She will be

remembered fondly by family and friends & sorely missed.

Marga was Predeceased by her husband, Willi Bruderek.

She is survived by her children; William Bruderek (Ocean Grove, NJ), Margaret Bruderek

(Howell, NJ) and Christine Floor & Christine's husband, Robert Floor (Boise, ID) and their two

children; Carsten Floor (Boise, ID) & Alaina Floor (Portland, OR).

Marga has 5 surviving siblings: 3 in Germany: Kathe Klussendorf, Elsbeth Pingel, and Hans-

Carsten Kroncke. 2 sisters in the USA: Annamarie Genzmann and Inge Vogt.
