Margaret A. (Marge) Andrysiak, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 89. She resided in San Antonio, FL with her daughter.

Marge was born on July 29, 1936, in South Bend, IN, to Henry and Margaret (Hadary) Kipp. She married Richard L. Andrysiak, and they enjoyed 36 years together until his death in 1994. Marge then relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 1995 to be closer to her daughter. They later moved to San Antonio, FL to be closer to extended family. Marge and her daughter lived happily together for the last 26 years of her life.

Marge graduated from Lakeville High School and the former South Bend College of Commerce. She began her professional career as an Executive Secretary in South Bend working for Shippers Dispatch, Studebaker's, Notre Dame University, and American National Bank. She achieved the designation of Certified Professional Secretary from The National Secretaries Association. Marge was promoted to Vice President and Director of Personnel for the bank in 1976. After the bank's merger in 1983, she was again selected to serve as Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Valley American Bank & Trust Company in South Bend, where she remained until 1995.

Throughout her career, Marge gave back to her local community serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Indiana University South Bend and Ancilla College in Donaldson, IN. She served as an Advisory Board Member for the South Bend Kiwanis Club, the Private Industry Council, the Youth Services Bureau, IVY Tech, and more. Marge served as Past President of the River Bend National Secretaries Association and later as President for the Michiana Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management. She was a frequent speaker and seminar speechmaker with favored topics of Motivation, Human Relations, Leadership, Creative Thinking and Attitude.

Above and beyond her successful career, Marge is best known for her love of God and neighbor. She always found ways to bring God into a conversation even with strangers. Marge was a devout Catholic and served in her local parishes in such roles as Bulletin Secretary, Lector, Eucharistic Minister both in the Church and local nursing homes, Parish Council member and Prayer Ministry Coordinator. She was always giving gifts and food to people who came to the house and even when she went to doctor appointments. Marge loved to bring people together and often opened up her home to welcome new neighbors and host fellowship events with the Prayer Ministry team and the neighborhood. She was beloved by everyone who knew her including the nurses in the hospital who took care of her during the last week of her life on earth.

Marge is survived by her loving daughter, Mary K. Andrysiak of San Antonio, FL, her sister, Sandy Ross of Fort Myers, FL, nieces, Susan Woolard, Kelly Ross, Ann Marie Compton, Laurie Richardson, Jill Trent, Jodi Kelley, Jackie Freel, Cindy Cummings; and nephews, Mike Gearhart, David Jozwiak, Greg and Tom Andrysiak; many special friends including Linda Lotz, Evelyne Butterfield, Louise Michal, Brenda Jones and many members of her parish family; and her beloved grand-dog, Maggie.
