Margaret Helen Bohnhoff

Margaret Helen Bohnhoff, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on February 9, 2026, at Stoneleigh Residence in Lansing. She was born on August 18, 1964, in Lansing, the daughter of Richard and Margaret (O'Rourke) Deupree. Margaret brought joy and laughter to those around her through her great sense of humor and quick wit.

Margaret's life was characterized by her unwavering love for people. Her genuine spirit and kindness touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends. She dedicated many years to her work at Falsetta's Casa Nova Restaurant, where she not only honed her skills but also created lasting relationships with colleagues and patrons alike. Her commitment to her work reflected her passion for serving others and making a difference in her community.

Margaret is survived by her mother, Margaret (Gerald) O'Rourke-Kelly; father, Richard (Judi) Deupree; brother, David (Erica Wise) Deupree; step-siblings, Candice (Frank) Noyola, Carl Bohnhoff III; niece and nephew, Carter Deupree, Remi Deupree; aunt, Martha Sax; uncle, George (Andrea) O'Rourke; cousins, Diann Imbriaco, Sophia Greziak; and very special friend, Jori LaHaie. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and aunt, Georgina Imbriaco. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 4 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home with John Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Margaret's cremated remains will be entombed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Detroit, Michigan.
