Margaret Boofter Obituary
The daughter of the late Forrest D. and Edna May Crawford Waggoner, Margaret was born February 12, 1923 in Indiana Harbor, IN. She was a member of Morton Memorial Methodist Church, Bright Star 532 Order of Eastern Star, and was a charter member of the Apet Shrine Guild.
Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Boofter; and brothers, Ralph and Richard Waggoner.
Survivors include children, Thomas J. Boofter, Sr. (Sandy), Carol Lee Boofter, Peggy Sue Kimmel (Kevin); brother, George Waggoner; sister, Carol Lee Johnston; grandchildren, Thomas J. Boofter, Jr. (Aleah) and Emily Byrd (William); great-grandchildren, Emma, Eveline, Nathaniel and Jane.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 and after 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Tri-County Shrine Club, 7081 Potters Lane, Clarksville, IN, 47129 for the childrens' burn center.
