Margaret Marie Williams Boyd, born April 29, 1939, in Jacksonville, FL, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of Abraham and Minnie Williams. Margaret began her education at R.L. Brown Elementary and graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert High School in 1957. She then attended Jones's College of Nursing where she earned her certified nursing assistant certificate.
A dedicated professional, Margaret served as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the critical care unit of Methodist Hospital, later finding joy in caring for residents at a nursing home facility on Atlantic and Acme. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Margaret took pride in her work, ensuring her uniform was always impeccably pressed.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis "Paul" Boyd, and daughter, Tongala Williams. She is also reunited in heaven with her siblings: Cecil, Leroy, Purcell, Joseph, Loise, and Adeline.
Margaret's legacy lives on through her devoted children: Paula "Patrice" Levels (Spencer), Shynetta Boyd, Gary Boyd (Natasha), and Detrant Boyd (Tracey). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Jamie Williams, Jemart Williams, David Levels, Justin Williams, Nicole Richard, Tselone Boyd, Brandon Levels, and Brielle Levels, as well as, her 11 great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Abraham (late Yvonne), Delores (late Hitchett), Bobby (Lisa), Linda (Everhart), Christopher (DeeDee), Connie (Tony); sister-in-law, Estella Williams; brother-in-law, Eddie Wakefield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Margaret Marie Boyd was a beacon of love, kindness, strength, and compassion throughout her life's journey. Her steadfast devotion to her family and friends left an enduring impact on everyone blessed to have crossed her path. Though we mourn her passing, we find solace in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones and resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior.
