Mrs. Margaret Louise Crabtree Brogdon went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman. She was born on March 21, 1930. Margaret retired after working at Burlington Industries for many years. She was also a longtime member of Asbury Methodist Church in Rockwood. She is preceded in death by her husband: Fred Brogdon; parents: Euell & Erma Crabtree; brother: Jimmy Crabtree (Linda); sister: Carolyn Selvidge; niece: Terry Selvidge. She is survived by:
Brothers: Robert Crabtree (Louise), Jack Crabtree
Sisters: Alice Barr, Jo Hinds
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends from her church and community.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 6:00-7:00 pm ET in the chapel of Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm ET with Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Graveside and interment service will be on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 1:00 pm ET in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Asbury Methodist Church in Rockwood. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Margaret Louise Crabtree Brogdon.
