Margaret Buckley Obituary
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Dengel and Son Mortuary, Ottawa.
Interment Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
Margaret was born Friday, April 18, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Joe and Ivy (Howe) Maslak.
She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, moving to Gardner in 1973. Margaret moved to Ottawa in 1996 where she made her home until her death.
Margaret graduated from Wyandotte High School.
On January 6, 1968, Margaret was united in marriage with John E. Buckley at Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2008.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Brian K. Buckley; and brother Ed Maslak.
Survivors include her son Chris Buckley (Carmela Martin) of Ottawa; five grandchildren Christopher Buckley II (Alexandra) of Ottawa, Jonathan Buckley of Wichita, Amber Buckley of Wichita, Allison Buckley of Ellis and Ryan Buckley of Bonner Springs; three great grandchildren, Daemon, Adalind and Annalia.
Margaret enjoyed playing bingo, watching television including Hallmark movies and cooking shows. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids most of all.
