Margaret M. Cote (nee Slevin) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Friday December 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87. Margaret was born on January 14, 1937 in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Hannah Slevin and was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and a longtime time member of the OLPH Senior Club. Margaret enjoyed traveling, spending time in Sea Isle and taking trips to the casinos. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Beloved mother of the late Teresa Cote, loving mother of Pete Cote, Lynne Cote-Palmero, Mariann (the late George) Yeung, Michael Cote, Susanne Cote and Michele (Vincent) Marra, cherished grandmother of 16 and adoring great grandmother of 24, dear sister of the late John Slevin, Frank Slevin, the late Mary (the late Milt) Thomson, survived by cherished siblings Theresa (Harry) Schmidt, Joan (the late Robert) Weist, Dorothy Minko, Joseph (Patricia) Slevin, and dear sister-in-law of Mary Slevin, Margaret will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday December 14th, 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association @www.heart.org
