Margaret Brittany Danforth, 34, Oneida Nation. She was born on March 10, 1989, to David and Janet (Webster) Danforth. She began her journey to the Creator's land on May 3, 2023.
Margaret was a gentle, loving and caring person. She was also known for her contagious smile and laugh. She was very organized and had a unique style of doing household chores. Margaret was a beautiful kindhearted mom, and she took pride and joy over her children. She loved spending time with her family. Up until recently she enjoyed going to the Friday night races with her family.
Margaret lives on through her children Brody Quilyn Hill, Blake Nova Danforth, and BriElla Jo Danforth-Denny. She is survived by her parents and siblings, Shonna (Sterling) Danforth, Lataklokwatha (Tanya) Danforth, Shaleena Danforth, Shaleesa (Kato) Danforth, Jennifer (Luke) Hargrove, and Jeremy Berg.
Margaret is further survived by her nieces, Iiyonna, Irie, Sasha, Sayjah, Santana, Akasha, and nephews, Brennan, Elijah (Junior), David, DeBron, Kendric, Rickim, Kupono, Kekoa, Caymen, Laken, Keyen, Jeremy Jr, Tehan^sta*litha, and Laknatakwe*ku and lastly great newphews Angelo and Sekani. Paternal Grandmother Marilyn Danforth and many aunts, uncles and relatives who added to the great joy in her life.
Margaret is preceded in death by her sister Yetsisehewe Danforth, nieces Imaysheia Crumble and Alivia Hargrove, and nephew Joseph Crumble. As well as her maternal granparents, Art and Rita Webster. Paternal grandfathers Leander and Reginald Danforth.
Visitation begins Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at David and Janet Danforth's residence, N7180 Path of the Bear and will continue at the Oneida longhouse, Monday, May 8th, at 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with the service to begin at 10:00 a.m. A procession will take Margaret to the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds for burial.
