Margaret M. DiMatteo, 77yrs old of Eddystone, Pa passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Born in Taylor Hospital, she was a lifelong resident of Eddystone, PA.
Margaret attended Eddystone High School. She worked for Elwyn Institute in Media, Pa in the dietary department, and Shoney's Restaurant in Tinicum, Twp before retiring.
Margaret, affectionately known in the family as Queenie, enjoyed summer vacations in Florida and Williamsburg Va., going to the casino, and spending time at home with her family.
Daughter of the late Bert and Elizabeth Skarren. She was predeceased by her Beloved Husband of 41yrs Louis DiMatteo Sr., Sister Sarah McKniff, Father/Mother-in-law Carmen and Olga DiMatteo, Brother's in law James DiMatteo, William McKniff, and Donald Budgick, Sisters in law MaryAnn Skarren, and Susan DiMatteo.
Survived By: Her sons William DiMatteo and Louis DiMatteo Jr, grandchildren Louis 3rd, Anastasia, and Shianne. Brother's James and Bert Skarren (MaryEllen). Brother-in-law Carmen DiMatteo (Carol), Sister-in-law Marie Budgick, her German Sheperd Lily "The prettiest doggie in the whole wide world" as she would tell her, along with many nieces and nephews, especially her niece Deborah Haubrich.
Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, May 16, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM.
Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon Pa.
