We bid an affectionate farewell to Margaret Caroline Eckstein, a spirited and compassionate soul known as Margie to all who loved her. Born on April 8th, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, Margaret's life was a testament to empathy and thoughtfulness. Her journey came full circle in Philadelphia, where she quietly departed on September 5th, 2025. Margaret's life was defined not by periods and dates but by her affectionate interactions with those around her, and her deep love for her dogs.

Margaret's kindness was a beacon, and she dedicated her life to healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She showered the same compassion she had for her patients on her beloved dogs, her ultimate source of joy. Margaret was a twin, her other half being Janet Eckstein, who preceded her in death as well as her parents Caroline and Harold Eckstein, siblings Edna Whener and Harry Eckstein. She is survived by her sister, Alice Cymbor, many nieces, nephews and their families.

Margaret's life will be celebrated with a Graveside Service at North Cedar Hill Cemetery, located at 5800 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19135, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 am.

Please visit Margaret's memorial page to leave your memories and upload photos that encapsulate her loving spirit. In celebrating her life, we remember and honor a uniquely compassionate soul who touched countless lives with her kindness and love.
