Minh Nguyen

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Minh Van Nguyen, 67, who departed this life on September 2, 2025. Born in Phan Thiet, Vietnam, on October 7, 1957, Minh was the cherished son of (late) Hiep and (late) Do Nguyen.

After moving from Vietnam, he made a home in Bethlehem and Easton, Pennsylvania, before finally settling in Hatfield. Minh was a sheet metal fabricator by trade, employed at Lloyd Industries Inc. for 6 years and a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 19. Prior to that, he was a mechanic for 10 years and a semi-professional soccer player. Minh's work ethic was second to none, but he was not defined by his occupation. His true passion was found in his hobbies and interests.

Beyond his professional life, Minh was a man of many talents and hobbies. He had a love for singing karaoke, drawing, writing, and cooking his children's favorite meals, a testament to his brilliant and creative mind. But it was when he was working on cars or fixing houses that his spirit truly shone, never hesitating to help friends and his youngest daughter with home renovations and car projects. Most precious to him were the moments spent FaceTiming his beloved grandchildren. His love for them was immeasurable. Minh is survived by his daughters; Kim Nguyen of Springfield, Missouri, Nhi Nguyen of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, and Qui Nguyen of San Antonio, Texas, grandchildren Kaiden, Kyle, Nikita and his former wife, Hong Bui of Easton, Pennsylvania.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "It is not length of life, but depth of life," and Minh's life was a deep, enriching journey that touched many. His laughter, his love, and his zest for life will always be remembered and cherished.
