Margaret H. (Peggy) Rollins Obituary

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Rollins, age 96, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 24, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1926, to Albert H. Hosier and Charlotte M. Hosier in Piqua, Ohio.

Peggy grew up in Maumee, Ohio and was a graduate of Maumee High School, Class of 1944. Peggy attended and graduated from Wittenberg College in 1948 with a B. A. in Education, where she met her husband-to-be Clark B. Rollins, Jr., a native Nashvillean. They were married in July of 1948 in Maumee, Ohio, and moved to Nashville, Tennessee where they raised four children.

Peggy loved spending time in the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly with her close friends and relatives. She enjoyed music, playing tennis, playing bridge, her book club, attending luncheons at The Centennial Club, and traveling throughout the United States and to foreign countries with her husband Clark.

Peggy is survived by three of her four children, Bart (Delinda) Rollins, III, Ann Krafft (Lance, deceased), and Don (Lisa) Rollins; grandchildren, Clark (Lyndsey) Rollins, IV, Lindsey Rollins (Charles) Webb, Meglyn Krafft, Kurt Krafft, Natasha Rollins, and Alex Rollins; great grandchildren, Sarah Margaret Rollins, Clark B. Rollins, V., and Martha Nell Webb.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her husband Clark B. Rollins, Jr., and her youngest son William Neil Rollins. A wonderful listener, a gracious hostess, a good and true friend, a caring mother, a loving, supportive wife, and a wonderful person, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Nashville July 15, 2023, with 10:00am visitation followed by an 11:00am service in the sanctuary with Dr. Stuart R. Gordon, officiating.
