Margaret Triolo Hargraves

With profound love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Margaret Triolo Hargraves, 73, of Boynton Beach, FL, and formerly Kingston, PA. Margaret entered eternal rest on Monday, September 1, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family, after a courageous battle with leukemia.

Born on April 28, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gregory and Bessie (Salamone) Triolo. Margaret's life was a shining example of service, strength, and compassion. For 25 years, she dedicated herself to being a property manager for the Luzerne County Housing Authority. She also extended her generosity as a volunteer counselor for the Luzerne County Domestic Violence Hotline and later continued to give back as treasurer of her condominium association in Boynton Beach.

Margaret found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved the warmth of the pool and the ocean, the peacefulness of yoga, the creativity of cooking, and even the comfort of a good trip to Boscov's. Her heart, however, was always with her family. Nothing brought her greater pride than seeing her children succeed and sharing in the laughter and love of her grandchildren. Traveling filled her spirit, and her most treasured destination-Puglia, Italy-reflected her deep love for her heritage.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Dorris and her husband, Michael of Harrisburg; her sons, Peter V. Dacchille and his wife, Lauren of Boynton Beach, FL, and Alexander J. Hargraves and his wife, Meghan of Phoenixville, PA; her sister, Mary Ann DiPasquale of Brooklyn, NY; and six grandchildren who were the lights of her life-Anthony M. Dorris, Milena E. Dorris, Nathaniel G. Dorris, Isabella E. Hargraves, Olivia M. Hargraves, and Charley M. Hargraves.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111, with Father James E. Lease officiating. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.

A luncheon to honor Margaret's memory will follow at Snitz Creek Brewery, 1805 Fisher Ave, Annville, PA 17003.

Margaret's life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and generosity. She faced every challenge, including her illness, with strength and grace. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those blessed to have known her.
