Margaret Henderson Obituary

Born and home delivered on March 3, 1924, in Wall, Pennsylvania, Marge married her college sweetheart and called Pittsburgh home for her entire life. John G. Henderson preceded her in death in 1989.
Marge loved family, friends, cooking and most of all her summers spent at Victoria Cottage in Van Buren Point, NY. A long time member of Christ United Methodist Church, she considered this congregation part of her family. Much of her volunteer work involved mission and outreach programs directed by the church.
Preceding her in death was her eldest son, John Gerald Henderson, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Ellen Jane (Larry) Homitsky, son Mark David (Jill), daughter in law Belinda Eichel, and sister Jane Wederich. Marge was Nana to 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A gathering to celebrate Marge's life will be announced and held at Christ United Methodist Church sometime after the first of the year.
