Margaret Catherine Henslee, Christian, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, beloved Aunt and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born on September 12, 1930, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and her vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she met.
Margaret was a woman of deep faith and strong convictions. Her love for her church was evident through her active involvement in various groups and Bible studies at Milford Christian Church, where she found a second family. She sought to uplift others through her community service, spending countless hours with the Day Heights Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, fully embodying the spirit of giving.
As a mother, she cherished her time as a Brownie leader when her daughter Sherrie was young, creating lasting memories and fostering a love for togetherness and teamwork. Her family was everything to her, and she embraced every moment with joy and laughter. Margaret's heart swelled with pride for her children: Sherrie and Mark, her grandchildren Noah, Ryan, Joseph, Jaime, Jared, and Jack, along with her great-grandchildren, Viktor, Lilith, Charlie, and Emery. She instilled in them the values of kindness, faith, and family, which will continue to resonate throughout their lives.
A celebration of Margaret's life will take place on October 4, 2025, at Milford Christian Church. A visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. All who knew and loved her are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing their own stories of her warmth and generosity.
Though she will be deeply missed, Margaret's love and light will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us of the joy found in community and the strength of family bonds. Margaret was preceded in death by husband David Henslee and parents Arthur & Margaret Weinman
