She shared her musical talents as a member of the Handbell Choir and was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers Society. She will be remembered for her commitment to her students and her love for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Robert Jameson and her brother, Fred Johnson.

Margaret is survived by her son, David Warren Jameson (Melanie) of Anderson, SC; her daughter, Linda Jameson Wilber (Chuck) of Chapin, SC; brother, Murrell ‘Tuffy’ Johnson, Jr. (Melinda) of Covington, VA; seven grandchildren, Charlie Wilber (Tyler), Peyton Wilber (BethAnn), Allison Wilber, Maggie Jameson, Haley Jameson, Dawn Tyre (Mac), and Leslie Werts (Jeff); six great-grandchildren, Annabella, Autumn, Mia, Callie, Savannah and Lilah Tate; a sister-in-law, Pat Johnson of Covington, VA; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 22, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Harris Funeral Home, 302 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC.
