Margaret Mary Kahoun passed away on February 1, 2023, in St. Petersburg, Florida after a long battle with an extended illness. She was 74 years old.
Beloved wife of the late Charles; former wife of Timothy O'Connor and loving mother to their children Holly and Patrick (Ashley); loving Nana to Maya Sciolino, daughter of the late Edward and Ann (Mascellino) Kolly, sister of Pearl Metzger and Joseph; cherished auntie to her nieces and nephews, and dear cousin and friend to many.
Margaret was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Bedford High School in 1966 and went on to work in the field of insurance on and off throughout her life, although she was most passionate about her job as a mother and nana.
Margaret was a devout member of the Catholic church and shared her talents as a Eucharistic minister, a Eucharistic Adorer, a faithful member of the "Life in the Eucharist" team, and a joyful participant in the "Christ Renews His Parish" women's group.
A funeral service for Margaret is scheduled for 11am on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 with a wake beginning at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Macedonia, Ohio. It will be immediately followed by a burial ceremony at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio and a luncheon at Our Lady of Guadalupe. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Margaret's name to EWTN, the Eternal Word Television Network.
