Margaret R. Kaiser, 90 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Ben Kociemba officiating. Burial will take place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN. Visitation will take place from 10:30-11:30 A.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. Caring for Margaret and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Margaret Rose (Iacono) Kaiser was born April 2, 1935, to James (Jim) and Rose (Leone) Iacono in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended Immaculate Conception School, Marcy Public School, Tuttle School, and Marshall High School, 1953, and was one of the first to enroll in a work/study program offered through her high school. She also took some course work at the University of Minnesota. She started her career in secretarial duties at Hope Chest Company, Minneapolis, where she eventually met and married her life-long partner, Norbert P. Kaiser. They were wed on August 17, 1957, St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and resided in Minneapolis and Columbia Heights until their move to Little Falls, MN, in 1967. She is survived by her husband, Norbert P. Kaiser, Little Falls, MN, and three children: Paul F. Kaiser, Fountain, CO, Jeanine (Mark) Grams, Little Falls, MN, and Anne Kaiser, Little Falls, MN. Grandchildren include: Jessica Flury, Vincent Kaiser, Crystal Kaiser, Kateri Salk Gundersen (Knute), Kyle Salk (Dana), Teri Thompson (Cole,) and Staci Schmidt (Cody.) She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren: Madalyn Smith, Alexandrea Smith, Grayson Flury, Ellie Kaiser, Vincent Kaiser Jr., Lily Anna Romero, Lorenzo Romero Jr., Soren Gundersen, Rhett Schmidt and Raegan Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her parents: James Iacono, Rose (Leone) Iacono, and her only brother, James Iacono Jr. (Jim.) She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and School, holding many duties throughout the years, as well as an active member of Christian Mothers. She also did volunteer work for the Lutheran Home, St. Gabriel's Hospital Auxiliary and Gift Shop, Fransican Convent Gift Shop, and the Little Falls Carnegie Library, holding the Chairperson position for the local Friends of the Library group for over ten years. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, sewing and shoe shopping. Throughout the years, she gave away many baby blankets and pot holders/trivets and contributed to the annual Church Christmas Bazaar. Throughout their married years, Margaret and Norbert were able to do quite a bit of travel, including Mexico, Hawaii, Italy, England, Germany and several cruises. She also held down several part-time jobs including bookkeeping for a local doctor and the Catholic School. Later, she also worked in the kitchen at St. Frances Convent. If asked what her occupation in life was, she would respond: "professional grandmother." She will be forever remembered as a generous, kind and loving friend, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
