Robert W. Kaiser, 56, of Rockaway, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was born in Dover, New Jersey, in 1969, to his parents Francis W. and Carol Kaiser.

After receiving his Associate's degree from County College of Morris, Robert built a distinguished career in law enforcement. As Lieutenant of the Millburn Police Department for 24 years, he served in many key roles across various divisions. Some of his most notable positions included Operator and Supervisor of the Emergency Service Unit (ESU) Team, the Sniper ESU Team, Crash Team Investigator, and Firearms Instructor. He also served as a Certified Motorcycle Officer. Robert furthered his skillset by attending tactical medical school, making him an American Heart Association Instructor, providing annual life-saving training to the entire police department.

Robert was a person that lived in the present with the life he wanted to live; a life filled with no regrets. He had an adventurous spirit and could be found riding his motorcycle, scuba diving, cliff diving, and skydiving. He thrived on challenges and dedicated himself to training for multiple marathons and charity rides. Some of the most noteworthy being the Police Unity Tour, Marine Corps Marathon, and the Special Olympics Ride. He was also active as a CrossFit member of Randolph.

He was extremely supportive of those in his life, whether it be his family, friends, and the family he built within the police department.

Robert is predeceased by his loving parents, Francis and Carol Kaiser. He is survived by his sister Jill Kaiser-Brodsky and her husband Marc of Hillsborough. He was a cherished uncle to his niece Madeleine, with whom he shared a special bond. He is also survived by his aunt Mary Jane Scalfani of Middletown, his cousin Michelle Wiebel and her husband P.J. of Sparta, and their children Paul, Elle, and Charlotte.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, between 1:00-4:30PM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 4:30PM located at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. The Funeral Service will be accompanied by Millburn Police Department Funeral Honors. Interment is private.
