It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Benjamin Metellus on Friday, August 15, 2025, a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. Patrick was born in Dover, New Jersey, and from an early age, he touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his warmth, kindness, and unforgettable smile.

Patrick graduated from Dover High School in 2013 and went on to attend Lincoln Tech, where he pursued his love for automotive work. His passion for cars was only matched by his compassion for others-whether fixing something under the hood, feeding wild animals, or offering a helping hand to his family and friends, Patrick's generous spirit shined through in everything he did.

He found joy in the little things, especially caring for his cats, cheering on the New York Giants, and brightening the lives of those around him. Patrick was truly the most selfless and beautiful soul, and his presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Patrick will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving family: his mother, Mercedes Benjamin; his father, Harold Metellus; his brother, Santos Roman Jr., and sister-in-law, Dolly Roman; his nephew, Santos Roman III; his nieces, Jasmin Roman and Destiny Roman; and his great-niece and nephews, Noah Diaz, Eliora Kelly, Isaac Martinez, and Aljaquan Kelly Jr. He is also survived by his dearest grandmother, Mama Lois Bolka, and the entire Bolka family, who held a special place in his heart.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00PM with a Funeral Serivce to begin at 6:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph.

A Graveside Service will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26, at 10:00AM. 28 Hurd St, Mine Hill Township, NJ 07803. (Please, meet at Tuttle Funeral home for prayer, before going to the cemetery).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patrick's name to Eleventh Hour Rescue (Donate Here).
