Margaret Ann Kaspari (Todd), 92, of Spring Drive, Johnston, RI, passed away on Friday, September 19, in the Briarcliffe Manor, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Vitalijs Kaspari, MD.

Ann was born and raised in Providence, RI, and was the daughter of the late John J. and Margaret Todd (Dempsey). She then moved to Johnston and lived there for 68 years.

Ann attended St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Providence, RI, and graduated in 1953. She then worked as a registered nurse for several decades. In 1995, she retired from Our Lady of Fatima Hospital after a long career as a circulating Operating Room Charge Nurse.

When Ann wasn't spoiling her grandchildren, she loved spending time at Salty Brine State Beach and Block Island, having coffee with her friends, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. She had an incredible sense of humor and brought so much laughter into the lives of all who knew her. As a nurse, Ann never hesitated to provide medical care to any friend or family member who needed it. It was her calling and greatest gift. She also loved giving back and donated to The Little Sisters of the Poor, an international organization serving the elderly poor in over 30 countries, as well as to the St. Robert Bellarmine Food Pantry.

Ann leaves her daughters: Juliana Kaspari of East Providence, RI, Jacqueline Robidoux and her husband, Mark, of Merrimack, NH, and Victoria Sambursky of Reading, MA. She was the grandmother of Tyler Robidoux, Vincent Robidoux, and Lauren Sambursky and was the sister of the late John G. Todd.

Viewing hours will be held on Thursday, September 25, from 4-7 pm at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI 02828 (For GPS use: 2 Church Street, Greenville, RI 02828).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 26, at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02929. www.strobertparish.org
