Margaret Koldyk

Koldyk, Margaret (nee: Vnenchak), age 90, of Stroudsburg, PA, on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born in Passaic, Margaret was raised in Garfield and Lodi and had lived much of her life in Clifton and Haledon before moving to Pennsylvania more than 25 years ago. She worked as a Department Supervisor for Mosler in Wayne and then as an office worker for Lion Ribbon in Secaucus before retiring. In her later years, Margaret was an avid polka dancer and was a longtime devoted fan of the New York Mets and the New York Giants.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Ray Koldyk. Loving mother of Kathleen Jager and her husband Frank of Oakland, Bertrand Harland and his wife Elaine of Wildwood and Mark Harland and his wife Lola of Bloomingdale. Dear grandmother of Bryan Jager, Evan Jager, Mark Harland, Jr. and Mike Plefka and his wife Lauren. Dearest sister of the late Dennis Vnenchak.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:30am-12:00pm.
