Publish in a newspaper

Margaret Wood Miskimon, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in Forest Hill, Maryland, where she had lived a full and vibrant life. Born in Maryland, she grew to be an embodiment of compassion and gentleness that touched everyone she met.
Margaret devoted herself to a life of caring as a nurse at Fallston General Hospital, where her gentle touch and warm smile brought comfort to countless patients. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to her beloved family. A devoted wife of 57 years to George Miskimon, she was the heart of their home and an unwavering partner through all of life's seasons.
As a loving mother, Margaret poured her love into raising her daughters, Catherine Bernard and Rebecca Kulinski. She instilled in them the values of kindness and the importance of family, creating a legacy of love that will live on through them. The joy of her life was further multiplied as she embraced her role as mom-mom to Mason Bernard and his wife Marissa, Garrett Bernard, and Cole Kulinski, showering them with the same love and attention she had always bestowed upon her daughters.
Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and celebrations. She lived her beliefs through her actions, treating everyone she encountered with the same love and respect that she knew every person deserved.
Her passions were as varied as they were heartfelt. An avid basket weaver, she crafted not just baskets but also bonds among those who shared her interest. Margaret's love for animals was evident to all who knew her, and she found great joy in the companionship of the natural world. Her adventurous spirit shone brightly when she went fossil hunting or when she delighted in the company of reptiles, sharing these passions with her family and friends.
Margaret's athletic spirit was evident in her younger years when she enjoyed playing basketball. She was also an enthusiastic supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, celebrating every triumph with the same grace she showed in every aspect of her life.
The Christmas holidays were a special time for Margaret, where her love for making cookies was only surpassed by the love, she had for those who gathered to enjoy them. These moments, like many others, reflected her belief that family always came first, a mantra that she lived by every day. Family and friends will honor and celebrate Maragret's life at Evans Life Celebration Home-3 Newport Drive (Rts 23 and 24) Forest Hill on Friday, October 24 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday.
