Margaret E. Mondo

Margaret E. Mondo, of Meadville, known to her family and friends as Meg, was born in 1959 in Meadville. She graduated from Meadville Area Senior High in 1976, where she served as an elected class officer for the student council. Meg received a B.A. in Psychology from Clarion University in 1980 and attended St. Vincent School of Nursing in Erie. Meg died peacefully in her sleep at Meadville Medical Center on January 11, 2024.
She was employed for many years as a case worker for CHAPS in Meadville, where she used her compassion and skills to support many individuals on their recovery journey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Phyllis Ruhlman.
She is survived by her loving husband and companion of 30 years, Michael Mondo, a sister, Amy Eisenberg (Richard), a brother, Ray Ruhlman, a nephew, Ivan Eisenberg (Katie), two nieces, Claire and Anna Ruhlman, two grandnieces and a grandnephew.
Meg was known for her spunky personality and tremendous strength. She was able to adapt to life's challenges and adversities due to her determination and sense of humor. A dear friend to many, Meg was loving and very real. She loved Jesus and gifted those she encountered with her beautiful smile.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 19 from 10-11 a.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dustin Heath officiating.
