Margaret Janice Mosier an unforgettable soul known for her feisty spirit, independent nature, and strong will, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 86. Janice was a woman who approached life with stubborn determination and an unwavering commitment to having fun in every endeavor.

Born on May 10, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas, Janice was the daughter of the late Luke "L.C." and Jane Fox. She moved at an early age to El Dorado, Kansas, where she grew up and attended school through high school. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Jerry Mosier, and began building a life that was immediately tested by tragedy.

Their early years together were punctuated by a devastating tornado that completely destroyed their first home. With characteristic strength and resilience, they rebuilt, laying the foundation for the family that would follow. Janice and Jerry were blessed with three children, who quickly became the center of her world.

In addition to raising her children and keeping a lively home, Janice nourished her creative side. She was a gifted painter, often finding joy and peace with a brush in hand. She had a passion for a good adventure, whether that meant traveling to new places, spending hours browsing at garage sales to find hidden treasures, or trying her luck at the casino.

Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Mosier; her daughter, Julie Emmons; her parents, L.C. and Jane Fox; and her siblings, Pat, Jeanette, and Bob.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving family:
Children: John Mosier and Jodi Kennedy
Brother: Mike Fox
Grandchildren: Ashley, Austin, Sheena, and Brèn
Great-Grandchildren: Hayden, Rylan, Charlee, Teigen, and Colt

Janice leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and the importance of enjoying the ride. She will be deeply missed, but the sound of her laughter and the warmth of her fiercely loyal heart will continue to resonate with all who knew and loved her.
