Margaret Smith "Granny" Moss

Jackson, SC – Graveside Services for Margaret "Granny" Smith Moss, 91, who entered into rest October 31, 2025, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Jackson Memorial Park, Randy Smith and Jonathan Moss officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 until 7.
Mrs. Moss was born August 29, 1934, in Swainsboro, GA to the late Oliver and Ola Hudson. She moved to Jackson, SC in 1952 and worked as a cashier at Jackson Supermarket for 30 years, but most importantly was the caregiver to her family and anyone that knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Don Smith and her husband, Ted Moss; son, Stephen Moss; daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith; two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include six children, Ricky Smith, Randy Smith (Laura), Evelyn Usry (Billy), Karen Weigle (Randy), Susan Hyer (Scott) and Jonathan Moss (Sandra); 25 grandchildren, 52 great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
