Margaret Mary Palutis

SEYMOUR, CT: Margaret Mary "Kim" Palutis, age 86, of Seymour, entered peaceful rest on December 2, 2025. Mrs. Palutis was born August 31, 1939 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Granahan) Campbell. Margaret Mary was married to the love of her life, Joseph Palutis for 61 years.

Margaret Mary was a communicant of Saint Nicholas Parish-Church of the Good Shepherd. She was an excellent baker, expert quilter, and had her own quilting business in Ansonia. Margaret Mary had been active in the Cub Scouts and served as a Den Mother. She was devoted to her family and always looked forward to Campbell get-togethers at reunions, weddings, wakes, graduations and holidays. Margaret Mary will be fondly remembered for her witty sense of humor, generosity, and her ability to bring joy wherever she was.

In addition to her husband Joseph, Margaret leaves her son, Christopher C. Palutis and his wife Holly of Murfreesboro. TN, many nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law, Marie "Micki" Johnson in NJ. Her brothers, Edward, Jack, Gene, Joe, Tommy, and Paul all predeceased her.

There are no calling hours. A celebration of mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour (DIRECTLY). Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA. Memorial Gifts may be sent to the Griffin Hospital Hospice Care, 130 Division St, Derby, CT 06418. The Ralph E.
