Margaret Plikaitis

Margaret (Falkowski) Plikaitis, 90, of Pawleys Island, SC; passed away on February 23, 2024, after a prolonged illness. Margaret was a long-time resident of North Palm Beach, Florida prior to her residence in Pawley's Island.
Margaret was born April 23, 1933, to Ann and (Adam) Joseph Falkowski in Manchester, Connecticut. In 1955, Margaret married Peter Plikaitis. Margaret and Peter had five children, Elizabeth (Neering), Marie (Foyt), Claire (Vukovich), Margaret (Simon) and Peter Plikaitis. Margaret loved to sew, bake, play piano, play scrabble and sing.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Peter (1976) and daughter Elizabeth Neering (2021). She is survived by her children; Marie, Claire, Margaret and Peter, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, her brother Michael (Sheila) Falkowski, sister Ann Marie Harm and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass for Margaret will be celebrated on Friday August 30, 2024, at St. Clare's Catholic Church in North Palm Beach, Florida. Margaret will be interred next to her husband during a private ceremony in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Pruitt Health at Conway Medical Center and Pruitt Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care of Margaret during her illness.
