Margaret Jean Porteous, 95, was born and raised in Scotland and came to the US in 1949 where she met her husband Jack Porteous. They were married for 63 before he passed in 2017.
Jean was a member of Holmes Presbyterian Church and former member of Media Presbyterian. Jean was also a member of the Daughters of Scotia lodge. She enjoyed line dancing, singing Scottish songs and her family.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Moira Hair (David) and Heather Cunningham (Michael); her grandchildren, Corey Wimmer (Jason), Sean Hair, Erin Moritz (Mike), Shane Cunningham (Kelly), and Brianna Zelenak (Paul); and her great-grandchildren, Cali, Audra, Olivia, Callen, Michael, Tyler, Jackson, Hayes, Nolan, and Lee.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by her funeral service at Knoetgen–Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton, PA 19070.
