Margaret Blake Roseman passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in
Leland, North Carolina at the age of 78. Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, Margaret was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Leland Ward, where she dedicated much of her life to faith and community service.
She faithfully served her community for many years through her work with Community in Schools in Leland, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raymond Elmore Blake, Jr. and Mary Alma Child Blake, as well as her sister, Martha Blake Anderson.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her surviving family: her son, Anthony John Roseman, Jr., and his wife Heather of Leland; her daughter, Rebecca Jo Roseman, and her life partner Michael Garner of Newport, NC; her brother, Raymond Elmore Blake, III; and her sisters, Mary Beth Ganey and Miriam Raye Wiggs. She was the cherished grandmother of Hailey Britt (Tyler), Alyssa, Meagan, Matthew, McKenzie, Brianna (Anton), Anthony John Roseman, III, and Makennah Roseman, and the proud great-grandmother of Aubrey, Stella, Olivia, Emersyn, and a great grandchild on the way, Baby Britt.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Leland Ward, located at 1361 Old Fayetteville Road, Leland. Bishop Darren Shipman and Tripp Child will lead the service. Interment will follow at the Nelson Family Cemetery.
The family invites friends and neighbors to join them for a visitation in the Relief Society Room at the Church an hour prior to the services.
Margaret will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her commitment to her community, and her enduring love for her family.
