John Jones Obituary
Survived by wife of 61 years - Fran Jones and two sons - Michael (Anna) and Kevin (Jay), both of Leland, NC, granddaughter Wendi (Aaron) and two great grandchildren, Kaine & Baley of Bolivia, NC, granddaughter Stephanie (John) and two great grandsons, Waylon & Wyatt of Wilmington, NC. One brother - TJ Jones of Easley, SC, two sisters - Paula Jarret and Grace Blanton both of Wilmington, NC and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom were dearly loved by him.
John was a proud Veteran of the US Army and touched many lives as a little league baseball coach.
A time of visitation will start at 10 am Saturday, January 3rd, 2025 until 10:45 am with the Memorial Service at begin at 11 am at First Baptist Church of Leland, 517 Village Road, Leland, NC 28451 led by Rev. Chris Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be directed to the First Baptist Church of Leland or the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation.
