Margaret "Maggie" Marie Shroyer was a caring mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was taken from this world suddenly on January 23, 2024 at the age of 34.
She was born to Larry and Sandra (Scrabeck) Shroyer on May 10, 1989, joining a brother Sam, and sister, Katie. Following high school graduation, she attended 2 years at Kaplan University in Urbandale, Iowa followed by a massage therapy certification program at Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School.
After settling in Osceola, Wisconsin, she worked at Wild River Fitness center – a division of Osceola Medical Center for nearly 7 years. Most recently she took pride in her customer care representative position at Target, in which she worked from home.
Maggie's greatest love was that for her family. She was destined to be a "Momma" long before having her two beautiful sons, mothering her nieces and nephews, children she nannied, and all the new babies at her extended family gatherings.
Maggie was a tender, beautiful soul who always wanted the best for her sons. Maggie loved nature, animals, music and any kind of artistic expression. Her life always included pets, walks in the beautiful St. Croix Valley, and anywhere in the Driftless areas near her hometown. She had many dreams for her future. She wanted a small farm with chickens, goats and maybe even a Scottish Highland cow or two! She enjoyed giving journaling books to her family in hopes to read them one day. She wanted to learn how to quilt like her grandmothers before her. Most of all, she dreamed of raising her family to be happy, loving human beings. She was taken from us many years too soon.
Maggie was preceded in death by grandparents, Don and Elaine Shroyer.
She is survived by her immediate family of two sons Theo and Remy, parents Larry and Sandra Shroyer, brother Sam Shroyer and his children Aden Atwell, Neptune Stevens, Max Johnson and Willow Shroyer, and sister Katie (Ryan Stapp) Shroyer. Also survived by grandparents Ron and Nancy Scrabeck, aunts Christine Olson, Jackie (John) Coyle, Jennifer (Chris) Fye and Maureen Lockie Shroyer, and uncles Devin (Terisa) Scrabeck, Bob (Debi) Shroyer, Tim (Mary Lou) Shroyer, and Tom Shroyer. Scrabeck family cousins include: Nathan (Kortni) Olson and son Knox, Chad (Vickie) Olson and sons Caden and Tyler, Ross (Gretchen) Olson, Liz (Brad) Barrett and children Michael, Ari and Kara, and Cassie (Jordan) Rasmussen, Meghan (Mitch) Johnson and children Leighton, Weston and Cameron, Andrew (fiancé Abbie) Coyle, Allison (friend Lily), Alex (Ruth) Scrabeck and son Peter, Annie Fye, and Colby Fye. Shroyer family cousins include: Josh (Christina) Shroyer and children Tanner, Linzy, Saydee, Mayson, Raygan and Ruby, Matt (Heather) Shroyer and children Olivia and Brody, Sarah (Adam) Randall and children Elliott and Audrey, Tim (Ani) Shroyer, Laura (Mike) Henderson and children Miles and Lincoln, Karl Feurst, John (Cecii) Shroyer and daughter Annaliese, Ellen Shroyer, and Elizabeth Shroyer, and close friends Bethany, Jess and Taneka, who offered comfort, shelter and support.
