Margaret Louise "Grytdahl" Soderquist

Soderquist L. Margaret of Minnetonka MN born 5/3/1930 in Duluth MN and passed away on 1/10/1926 @ 95 years old. Margaret was a graduate of the class of 1947 from Denfeld High School in Duluth Mn. She got her first nursing degree from St. Lukes in Duluth Mn. before completing her BSN from DePaul University in Chicago Illinois and then her MSN from the University of MInnesota. She went on to teach nursing at North Hennepin Community College until she retired. She loved being a nursing instructor. Margaret loved Minnesota sports especially watching the Minnesota Vikings with her friends and family. She was a member at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Excelsior Mn where she was active in bible study, circle and served in the Stephens ministry. She had a strong faith in God. Preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Mamie Grytdahl, siblings Allen, Lloyd, and Lucille. Her husband Hubert Lane Soderquist. Survived by daughter Linda Jaska (Steve) in Austin TX, sons Paul of Minnetonka and Mark (Jenna) of Austin TX. Grandchildren Riley (Mackenzie) Soderquist Carbondale CO, Charlotte and Cole Soderquist Austin, TX. Nieces and nephews.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She was a wonderful, kind, compassionate mother, grandmother,wife, daughter and friend. Rest in peace mom.

Memorial gathering on Friday 1/16/26 from 4-6 pm @ St. Albans Mill Condominiums party room Building 3. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery to be announced.
