Margaret Rosemary Suszek, born on February 20, 1921, in Posen, Michigan, passed away on May 29, 2025, at MediLodge of Greenview. She was the beloved daughter of the late Julia (Skierski) and Felix Muszynski.
Margaret lived a life filled with love, dedication, and kindness. She embarked on her professional journey working for Fraser Products before embracing her true calling as a homemaker. Throughout her life, she cultivated skills that enriched her family and community. Margaret was a passionate gardener, a talented cook, and a nurturing daycare provider. Her love for games was evident as she enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and her sharp mind found joy in word searches and constructing puzzles.
On March 6, 1943, she married Joseph Suszek, the love of her life, with whom she shared numerous cherished moments. Together, they built a strong family foundation, and Margaret's love and care seamlessly extended to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Jim) Weber of Kalkaska, MI, Marcella (Wayne) Male of Homosassa, FL, and Raymond (Helen) Suszek of Alpena. Margaret took immense pride in her six grandchildren: Steve (Sue) McConnell, Travis (Deborah) McConnell, Shari (Kevin) Alexander, Teri Lynn Male, Andrew Suszek, and Matthew (Jennifer) Suszek. Additionally, she had eight great-grandchildren, Jeremy (Mackenzie) McConnell, Cory McConnell, Keith (Alyssa) Alexander, Katrina Hodgson, Karsten (Alexis) Alexander, Nicholas and Zachary Russo, Aliyah, and Jackson Suszek. Margaret also leaves behind five great-great-grandchildren: Elliot and Ellison Alexander, Barrett Hodgson, and Kinley and Kace Alexander. Her family legacy continues through her dear sister Gladys Kowalski and brother Donald Muszynski.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Suszek, her grandson Mark Male, son-in-law George McConnell, and her siblings Mike Muszynski, Verna Klesk, Alex Muszynski, Otto Muszynski, Evelyn Jones, Violet Muszynski, Gladys Muszynski, Blanche Muszynski, and Rose Mary Muszynski.
