Margaret Veinot Obituary
Margaret Elizabeth Veinot (nee Alvey), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at the age of 74. Loving wife of 56 years to Robert K. Veinot; beloved daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary Alvey; devoted mother of Barbara (Jeffrey) Cockrill, Tricia (Eric) Moore, Steven (Edith) Veinot, and David (Susan) Veinot; cherished grandmother of Daniel (Ashley) Cockrill, Caleb (Lauren Gaul) Cockrill, Jacob (Angela Backer) Cockrill, Michael (Jordan) Cockrill, Elizabeth Moore, Megan Moore, Joshua Moore, Emily Mitchell, Ryan (Ashlee) Moore, and Collin Ursch; great-grandmother of eleven. Margaret is also preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Alvey, Linda Charboneau, Thomas Alvey, and James Alvey.
Margaret cherished her time outdoors, delighting in camping and biking. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Margaret's name to O'Fallon Christian Church.
A special note from the family:
We are asking friends and family to gather with us on Friday, June 21, 2024 at O'Fallon Christian Church in O'Fallon, MO to remember my mom and to celebrate her life. Please come visit with us at 10 am. A memorial service will begin at 11. If anyone has a special memory to share, there will be a time during the service to share with us. If you’re unable to verbally share your thoughts, please write them down and someone can read them for you. Thank you again for praying for us all through this difficult time.
