SEYMOUR – Laura Veinot, age 54 of Seymour, beloved wife of Brian Veinot, entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in Griffin Hospital. Born in New Haven on August 11, 1969, she was a daughter of the late Genaro Fusco and Helen Graham of New Haven.
Laura had a zest for life and loved to entertain, especially hosting cookouts and holiday dinners. She was a true music fan and loved to sing, something she was very good at. Laura and Brian enjoyed traveling together, whether it be Old Orchard Beach, ME, Mystic, CT, Misquamicut Beach, RI, or even simply going out with Brian for dinner and a movie. She will especially be remembered for the love of her canine family, which included Sabrina (Cocker Spaniel), Mandy (German Sheppard), Dusty (Cockapoo), Roxanne (St. Bernard), Tabitha (Springer Spaniel), Rosie (Teacup Poodle), Max (Pug), and Molly (Chocolate Lab).
In addition to her beloved husband Brian, of 25 years, and mother, Helen, survivors include her cherished dog, Abby (Teacup Poodle); and sister, Yvette Graveline. Laura was predeceased by her siblings, Ernie, David, Paul and Roy Graveline, and Cheryl Cole.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford Rd., Oxford CT 06478. Relatives and friends can greet the family from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
