SEYMOUR, CT: Janet Mary Bryg, age 77 a lifelong Seymour resident, she entered into peaceful rest on December 22, 2024; she was the beloved wife of the late Michael John Bryg. Mrs. Bryg was born March 24, 1947 in Derby, daughter of the late John and Tillie (Behuniak) Kowtko. Janet was a member of Three Saints Orthodox Church, Ansonia. She was Licensed Practical Nurse having formerly worked at Anthem Blue Cross in Quality Assurance, Griffin Hospital, Derby, Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton, and also for Dr. Mark Aferzon in Shelton. Janet enjoyed watching her granddaughter Lauren play scholastic basketball, volleyball and softball.
Mrs. Bryg leaves her loving family including her daughter Rebecca Golebieski and her husband Jeffrey of Seymour, her granddaughter, Lauren Golebieski of Seymour, and her niece Lucy, and nephews, John and Christian.
Calling Hours will be Monday December 30th at 3:00 PM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour; a Memorial Service in celebration of Janet's life will immediately follow at 5:00 PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial Gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org Please share a memory at www.hullfh.com
